When this cask was first sampled it was the perfect Devil’s cask at 66.6% and I am delighted to report that as it has come down the mild soft sherry tones which are so reminiscent of sherry trifles of childhood remain with sweet yellow fruits and creaminess to top things off.
Barley sugars and other old school boiled sweets mingling into creamy sherry which tingles the tastebuds.
Some gentle oak tannins join the creaminess from, the nose. Sweet, warm and satisfying.
